Sep 22, 2018 · Sounds like you may be experiencing one of the most common problems with the Odyssey- faulty micro switches in the door latch module. . If so, the solution is a new door latch. Let’s see what others here have to say before you proceed. I had a similar problem along with the doors jumping when they opened and closed.
Before doing anything to solve your problem you should just reset your door mechanisim. It should solve 99.99999 % of the sliding door problem. 1)Fully open the sliding door manually or electrically. 2)Removed the #13 fuse (clock) for at least 60 seconds,located under the dash on the right side near the door hing.2005 Honda Odyssey 129,000 mi, Visitor. Checked all fuses - all were fine. Tried pulling the driver's footwell fuse #7 (a backup light fuse I think) for two minutes and the door started working again.
