Maybe the IH guy will fix whatever was broken between versions. Besides IH, it's just drag and drop and the FOV mod just works. You can edit the config file for your own preferences too. I thought it was too much with the default value and used a happy medium somewhere in between the game's natural FOV and the default value in the FOV config.
